We understand the gravity of severe mental illnesses and the critical need for immediate stabilization. Upon arrival, clients receive round-the-clock care tailored to their individual requirements in a compassionate environment, without dealing with the impersonal feeling of being at a hospital.
Our onsite 24-hour nursing care includes observation, monitoring, intervention, and medication to help clients get stable. Unlike most crisis centers, we also reach out to the family daily within 72 hours of admission for everyone’s peace of mind. We strive to keep the lines of communication open and collaborate with everyone involved in the client’s care.
Clients stay for an average of 7-21 days, and often transition to Residential Mental Health Treatment (RTC) to continue their care.
Clients receive a personalized treatment plan with medication, group activities, and daily evaluations, from the moment they arrive.
Days in our San Diego mental health treatment center are filled with yoga, sound baths, music therapy, pet therapy, art therapy, and life skills training, all to prepare you for life after treatment.
A typical day at our San Diego home involves a careful combination of therapy, alternative healing practices, mindfulness training, and group time.
Crisis stabilization differs from residential mental health treatment by focusing on addressing more severe symptoms and providing intensive, short-term care to stabilize individuals in acute crisis situations.
Our San Diego crisis stabilization mental health treatment facility provides a home-like setting similar to our residential mental health facilities to ensure clients feel comfortable and supported during their stay.
If your loved one is exhibiting severe symptoms such as suicidal ideation, self-harm urges, or active psychosis, they may benefit from crisis stabilization to ensure their safety and well-being.
Rest assured, your loved one’s safety is our top priority during treatment, with 24/7 monitoring, nursing care, interventions, and medication management in place to maintain a secure environment.
We prioritize contacting the family within 72 hours of admission, ideally within 24 hours. If admission occurs over the weekend (e.g., Saturday night), we reach out on the next business day.
Following the crisis stabilization program, clients usually transition to residential mental health treatment to ensure that they’re fully stabilized and have a solid foundation for ongoing recovery. Our team will work with you and your loved one to create an individualized treatment plan for continued care and support.
We value the feedback from our many clients and we are proud of these success stories. Knowing we have made a positive impact on the lives of these individuals and families is most important to us.
